Wiki page Generation
- To create a new wiki page, use the New Page link on the top right of any wiki page.
- Alternatively, type the name of the new page in square brackets
[myPage My Page], and give the link a title, in this example we used “My Page”. A link will be added when changes are submitted.- To create the new page, click the link. A message will appear stating “This page does not exist. Would you like to create it?”
- Click “create it” and the new page will be created.
- The square brackets can be also added by clicking the “Internal Link” button displayed in the formatting tools just above the edit screen when in the “Edit” mode.
Project Info
- Maybe you want to include information about your project. You could use bullet points or create a table to provide a nice overview.
Task List
The wiki can be used to record task lists and due dates. The team could make a table, for instance:
| Task | Team Member | Due Date | Status |
| Create project schedule | John | 01/30/2009 | In progress |
| Next task | Jim | 02/02/2009 | Not started |
| Task 3 | Joe | 02/10/2009 | Not started |
Meeting Notes
Here you could potentially create a separate link for each page, or create a new wiki page dedicated only to meeting notes.
