| Abstract | Though 7-year-old Lucas Murray was born without sight, he has learned to visualize his surroundings through a process known as echolocation. Similar to the sonar used by bats, Lucas makes clicking noises with his tongue then listens for how the sounds reflect back to him in order to determine where nearby objects are.
