| Description: | 009 MAAP Services Conference: Knowledge is Power is the theme of the 2009 MAAP/AAPC Services Conference scheduled for October 10-11, 2009 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The conference will feature 11 breakout sessions focusing on empowering parents and educators with the tools to support individuals with high-functioning Autism/Asperger Syndrome. The Indiana Institute's own Cathy Pratt, Director of the Indiana Resource Center for Autism, will be a featured Keynote speaker along with Gary Mesibov, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Registration fee is $180.00 for professionals or caregivers, $350.00 for a family package (2 caregivers and one child over age 13), $125.00 per student or individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
